His Excellency, the High Commissioner of India to Nigeria Mr BN Reddy has promised to use his good office to facilitate partnership with relevant Institutions in India and the Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC).
Mr Reddy made this known when he paid a courtesy visit to the Director General NARC, Major General Johnny Hamakim (rtd). The High Commissioner who was accompanied by the Defence Adviser (DA) of Indian High Commission Col Sachin Dubey expressed his profound appreciation for the warm reception accorded him and his entourage. He congratulated the Director General of NARC Maj Gen Johnny Hamakim (rtd), the Officers, Soldiers and the Civilian Staff of the Centre for the resound success achieved by the Centre within a short period.

The envoy recalled that, the visit of the Indian Prime Minister to Nigeria in 2007, helped to strengthen the bilateral relations between India and Nigeria. He also appealed for the inclusion of Indian language (Hindi) among the International Language Courses being taught at the Centre.
Earlier in his short remark, the Director General welcomed the envoy and intimated him with the roles of the Centre as a Think-tank not only for the Nigerian Army alone but the entire nation. The envoy was later conducted round the Centre to acquaint him with some military artifacts and other objects of historical importance.
The DG later conferred on the visiting envoy Mr Reddy with badge of the Fellow of NARC while Col Sachin Dubey was decorated with Membership badge respectively. Present at the occasion were the DG Maj Gen JGS Hamakim (rtd) Senior Officers, Officers, Soldiers and Civilian Staff of the Centre.
