The Director General (DG) Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC), Major General Johnny Hamakim (rtd) has challenged the participants of the Strategic Management Course to improve their capacity to develop, communicate and execute strategy.
He said this during the graduation ceremony of 2018 Strategic Management Course 1 held at the NARC, Abuja. He urged the participants to use the opportunity provided to them by the course to enhance their knowledge on strategic and security management by developing the ability to carry out security and vulnerable risk assessment.

In addition, he stressed that, the participants will have a better understanding of critical and system thinking, as well as an opportunity for networking and sharing of different perspectives on issues discussed during the course. This, he said will equip participants with the capacity to deliver services to clients in the most professional way.
He further commended Brig FC Eze (rtd) and his team for their efforts in bringing the course to fruition, as well as the Executive Director FNI Management and Accounting Services, Mr Felix Igboanugo and his team for their contribution.
It is imperative to note that the Nigerian Army Resource Centre has developed a curriculum for Strategic Management Course, which is designed for middle and senior level of Defence and security agencies, corporate organizations and civil society. Thus, the course is aimed at enhancing the performance of middle and senior level personnel in their current and future jobs.
Similarly, the course coordinator Brig Gen FC Eze (rtd) while speaking at the end of the five-day intensive program believed that, the main objective of the course had been achieved judging by the conduct of the participants throughout the course. He added that, the calibre of the participants and the sponsoring organizations will encourage the Centre towards organizing a similar course next year. He further appreciated the resource persons for their timeliness and disposition throughout the duration of the course. High point of the event was the presentation of certificates to the grandaunts.
