The participants of International War College of Republic of Cameroun, Yaounde have recently paid a working visit to the Nigerian Army Resource Center (NARC) as part of their International tour.
The delegation according to the Commandant Major General Ngambou Isaie was in Nigeria to have first-hand knowledge of NARC and other places of interest and important in Nigeria. He said the delegation have on its entourage sixty two (62) Officers drawn from 24 Countries including Nigeria.
In his welcome address the Director General of the NARC Major General GA Wahab (rtd) advised the participants to take whatever they are going through in the course of their studies as a prerequisite for getting to the peak of their careers. He said they should put whatever they learnt in their course of study into good use when they get back to their various countries.
As part of the visit the Executive Director NARC Consult Major General IM Yusuf delivered a lecture on 7 Division and Cameroun Defence Forces in Counter Insurgency Operation in the North East. He posited in his lecture that the aim of insurgency is to undermine government, therefore all elements of national power must be deployed to defeat the insurgency.
The participants were later taken round the facility of the center on a guide tour. Amongst those on entourage of the Commandant are the Defence Adviser to the Camerounian Embassy Col Quasel, the Deputy Commandant and Director of Studies, Navy Captain Miss Emmanuel and other senior officers of the Institution.
