Today, 1 February 2022, the Commandant Army War College Nigeria (AWCN), Major General BA Alabi paid a courtesy visit to the Director General (DG) Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC) Major General GA Wahab (Rtd) at the Centre’s BOARD Room in Abuja.
The Commandant and his entourage were received by the Director of Administration, Brigadier General AA Babalola on arrival at the Centre. The Commandant in his remarks said he was at the Centre to seek for possible areas of collaboration between NARC and AWCN with regards to resource persons. He also noted that it is part of their effort towards harmonising the curriculum of the three services, that is the Army, Navy and the Airforce adding that the AWCN has continue to work and sustain itself as the centre of excellence which produces well motivated and trained operational leaders across services.
The DG while responding said, the NARC is ready and prepared to collaborate with AWCN in training and preparing officers so as to achieve common goals in finding lasting solutions to the Nigerian security challenges. He also seized the opportunity to intimate the guests on the activities of the Centre. The high point of the event was the exchange of souvenirs.
The visit was well attended by some management staff of NARC and AWCN.
