The Director General, Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC) Maj Gen GA Wahab (Rtd) has advised soldiers of the Centre to develop their capacity for knowledge in order to be proficient both in service and post service life.
The DG revealed this on Friday 11 October 2019 at NARC Conference Hall C during the decoration ceremony of the newly promoted soldiers of the NARC for 2019 WO – CPL Promotion exercise released recently by the Army Headquarters (AHQ).

According to the DG, the army of today globally, is knowledge based and not the use of kinetic force as it used to be in the past. He enjoined the soldiers of the Centre to brace up and build their capacity for skills that will position them for both military and civil service responsibilities after their active military profession.
Gen Wahab congratulated the newly promoted soldiers and specially paid tributes to their family for keeping the home front comfortable for them. He later advised them to work harder because to whom much is given much is also expected.
In his vote of thanks, Warrant Officer (WO) Adamu Usman thanked the almighty God, the Army and the Centre for counting them worthy of their elevations to the new ranks. He pledged on behalf of the promoted soldiers not to betray the confidence reposed in them.
The nine newly promoted soldiers of the Centre are; WO’s Adamu Usman, Ibrahim Liman, OLadejo Babatunde, SSgt’s Lucky Micheal, Anthony Enojoh, Abayomi Odewenwa, Abu Aruwa, Amadi Chika and Lcpl James Eniola respectively. The ceremony was witnessed by the senior officers, officers, soldiers, civilian staff and the families of the newly promoted soldiers.
