The Director General, Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC) Maj Gen GA Wahab (Rtd) in company of some Directors of the Centre, paid a courtesy call on the Commander, Army Headquarters Garrison (AHQ Gar) Maj Gen JGK Myam on 18 October 2019. The DG stated that the visit was part of the sensitization tour he intends to embark on to some military units and formations and other oraganisations within Abuja Metropolis.

He stated that the aim of the sensitization visits is to acquaint individuals and agencies of government on the mandate, roles as well as the activities of NARC. He also emphasized on the two major roles of the Centre which is human capacity development and research in areas of defence and security. He further, mentioned some collaborations of the Centre with other relevant oraganisations both locally and internationally in order to achieve synergy of effort.
In his remark, the Commander AHQ Gar, Maj Gen JGK Myam welcomed the DG and his team. He equally appreciated the effort of the Centre especially in areas of human capacity development which he said to have benefitted from some of the programmes. He assured the DG of his continuous support to the Centre when ever necessary.
