The newly appointed Executive Director, Nigerian Army Consult, Maj Gen Ibrahim Manu Yusuf has assumed duty at the Directorate of NA Consult, Nigerian Army Resource Centre Abuja. In a get together organized in his honour, he expressed gratitude to God for making the day possible and the leadership aof the Nigerian Army for finding him worthy to take over the mantle of leadership as the Executive Director NA Consult. He also thanked the Director General Nigerian Army Resource Centre Maj Gen Johnny Hamakim (rtd) for organizing such an event. He noted that the Chief of Army Staff’s Vision can only be achieved through joint efforts regardless of one’s position.

source Centre, Maj Gen Johnny Hamakim had earlier applauded the former GOC 7 Divisions Maj GenYusuf on his achievements at theatre of operations in the North East. He urged him not to rest on his oars as there is still more work to be done towards the success of the NARC mission which is “to become a leading global Centre of excellence fully endowed with the technical capacity to generate and interrogate ideas with the aim of advancing the strategic defense and security of the Nigeria state”.
Maj Gen Yusuf has attended several military courses both home and abroad and has held a number of command, staff and instructional appointments. Prior to his appointment as the Executive Director Nigerian Army Consult, he was the General Officer Commanding 7 Division Nigerian Army where he earned a letter of commendation for gallantry of his Division in the destruction of Boko Haram bases in Camp Zero and other strongholds within the Sambisa Forest.
