Brigadier General Adam Hajara Abdu
About
Brigadier General Adam Hajara Abdu was born on 10 December 1971 at Bumai and hails from Kunchi LGA Kano State. He attended Sabo Gari Primary School Kaduna and later Rimi College Kaduna before gaining admission into the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in 1990 as a member of 42 Regular Course. He was commissioned in 1995 into the Nigerian Army Signals Corps. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Physics from NDA, Master in Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice from ABU Zaria and Master of Philosophy in Strategic and Security Studies from NDA.
In the Course of his career, he attended YOC Infantry, YOC Signals, Computer Course. Other military courses he attended include Signal Squadron, Regimental Signals Junior and Senior courses, Amphibious Staff Operations, French and National Defence Course. He served as Platoon Commander, Company Commander, Commanding Officer, Commander at Divisional Signals level, Director Nigerian Army System Development Centre, Director ICT at Headquarters Nigerian Army Signals. He participated in various military operation that includes OP ZAMAN LAFIYA, UNAMSIL, UNAMID, MONUSCO as Staff officer and Military Observer.
He is currently the Director ICT at Nigerian Army Resource Centre. Brig Gen Hajara is happily married and bless with 5 children. He enjoys jogging and reading.
