The Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC) Abuja, recently held a Send-off ceremony in honour of the 16 senior officers who were recently posted out to other units and formations of the Nigerian Army after a meritorious service at the Centre.
The Director General, Nigerian Army Resource Centre (DG NARC), Major General Garba Ayodeji Wahab (Rtd) in his usual manner extolled the senior officers, for their impact and contributions to the Centre while also wishing them successful tour of duty in their new Area of Operational Responsibilities (AORs).
The Send-off Ceremony which was held at the Centre’s Restaurant was a mark of appreciation to formally send-off the 16 senior officers recently posted out of the Centre to other military formations and units in a very remarkable ceremony.
In his vote of thanks, one of the posted out senior officers, who was a Senior Research Fellow, Major General GM Umelo, on behalf of the other posted out senior officers expressed his sincere thanks to the almighty God for making the day possible. He however, applauded the DG for his visionary leadership, tenacity and for providing an enabling environment for the Centre. He equally showered encomiums on the entire NARC staff for the high sense of responsibility exhibited throughout the period.
The climax of the ceremony was the presentation of souvenirs and gift items to the senior officers by the DG in appreciation for their successful tour of duty at the Centre.
