NIGERIAN ARMY RESOURCE CENTRE BURIED PERSONNEL IN A SOLEMN MILITARY TRADITION

It was an emotional scene at Guards Brigade Cemetery when Nigerian Army Resource Center laid to rest, Staff Sergeant Ogunlade Olushegun, a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer of the Centre who passed away on Saturday 14th March 2020 after a brief illness.

The Director, Human Resource Development NARC, Brigadier General UU Bassey in his remarks, describes late SSgt Ogunlade as a hardworking and loyal soldier who served his fatherland diligently. He described his death as a great loss to his family, the Nigerian Army and the country at large.

The event which took place on Thursday 19th March 2020 was attended by DG NARC, Maj Gen GA Wahab (Rtd), Executive Director NARC Consult, Maj Gen CO Ude, Directors, officers, soldiers and family members of the deceased with sympathizers from far and near to console the family of the deceased.

The highlight of the event was the Gun Salute to honour the deceased, series of prayers and presentation of the Nigerian Flag to the Next of Kin by the DG NARC.
