The Nigerian Army Resource Centre , between 7 and 9 April 2025 hosted 2 batches of Students of History and International Relations, Department of Education and Arts, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, Niger State on Education Study Tour to the Centre. The Director General of the Centre, Major General Garba Ayodeji Wahab (Rtd) welcomed the visiting students, led by the Team Leader, Dr Ilyasu Yakubu Ahmed to the Centre and later provided an Overview of the Centre focus areas, which include, Research and Publication, Human Resource Development, e-Learning, and Consultancy Services with emphasis on the Weekly Subject Experts Presentations as well as the Monthly Lecture Series. Following the Orientation there was an interactives sessions where students asked insightful questions and actively participated in the discussion. In his remarks, the team leader, Dr Ilyasu Yakubu Ahmed expressed his sincere appreciation to the Centre for hosting and for providing all the support to the visiting Students. He further stated that the study tour was part of the annual field trip for educational purposes and for the students academic developments. The event held at hall C TY Buratai block have in attendance the Director General of the Centre, Major General Garba Wahab (Rtd),the Team Leader, Dr Ilyasu Yakubu Ahmed and the Lecturers, Directors and Officers amongst others. Highlights of the event was the presentations of souvenirs, books, a tour of the Nigerian Army Museum and a group photograph to conclude the visit.
