The Director General Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Major General Garba Ayodeji Wahab (Rtd) has said that the world today is a global village. He stated this during the inauguration ceremony of the pioneer Internet and Computing Core Certification Course (IC3), at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Abuja on Tuesday. The Course is designed for personnel of the Nigerian Army to enhance professionalism and computer literacy in the Service. The Director General further stated in the world where almost everything is going digitalized, the need for Computer literacy cannot be overemphasized. The IC3 course is expected to equip the participants with knowledge and skills in computing. Speaking further, Major General Wahab (rtd), thanked the Chief Of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai for approving and supporting the course and enjoined the participants to work hard to justify the effort of the Chief of Army Staff. In his welcome address earlier, the Consultant on Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) of the Centre, Brigadier General Ferdinand Eze (Rtd), also advised the participants to take the course seriously as it will benefit them in their career.
