The Director General, Nigerian Army Resource Centre (DG NARC) Major General Garba Ayodeji Wahab (Rtd) has advised the senior officers who were recently posted out of the Centre, not to place value on their impact and contributions to the Centre as their value cannot be quantified.
The DG stated this on March 9, 2021 during the Send-off Ceremony organised by NARC as a mark of appreciation to formally send-off the 11 senior officers recently posted out of the Centre to other military formations and units in a very remarkable ceremony in Abuja.
“You have added something which is intangible to what the Centre is actually doing”. “If your value is measured then it is useless because you cannot quantify your value”, he said.
General Wahab, further thanked all the senior officers for what they have done. In addition, he said, it was a wonderful experience having them aroundwhile also praying that God will be with them wherever they go.
In his vote of thanks, The Executive Director Nigerian Army Resource Centre Consult, Major General JJ Ogunlade expressed his sincere thanks to tge almighty God for making the day possible on behalf of other senior officers. He however, applauded the DG for his doggedness, patience, tolerance and for providing an enabling environment for the Centre. He equally showered encomiums on the entire NARC staff for the high sense of responsibility exhibited throughout the period.
The climax of the ceremony was the presentation of souvenirs to the senior officers by the DG in appreciation for their successful tour of duty at the Centre.
