YOU MUST STRIVE TO LEARN – LT GEN ADEOSUN
The Special Guest of Honour and Chief of Policy and Plans (Army), Lt Gen Lamidi Adeosun has enjoined participants of Strategic Management and Policy Studies Course 3/20 to strive and learn as no knowledge is lost.
He made this known on Wednesday 30 September, 2020 during the Inauguration Ceremony of the SMPSC at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC), Abuja.
He said the third edition of the course is a firm indication that the programme conducted by the Centre, in collaboration with the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), is gaining momentum and has become an integral part of the calendar for National Security Training in the country.
Lt Gen Adeosun revealed that the positive reports received from participants and observers about the previous 2 courses is a thing of pride, particularly, in Army Headquarters where he was directly involved in the activities of the previous courses while serving as the Chief of Operations.
“It is therefore gratifying to note that NARC has risen to the challenge of its mandate and has consistently conducted this programme with all seriousness it deserves”, he said.
However, he congratulated all the participants for being selected by their various services and agencies to participate in the unique programme. He also used the opportunity to thank the various services and agencies for subscribing to the course.
Earlier in his address, the Director General Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Maj Gen Garba Wahab (Rtd) welcomed each and every one, particularly, the representatives of sister services and other security agencies to the Centre.
He emphasized that the course is designed to examine security through non-kinetic angle, while also addressing other aspects of human resource development.
Present at the event were the representatives of Sister Services and Security Agencies, Principal Staff Officers (PSO’s) from Army Headquarters, Directors, Consultants and Resource Persons and other staff of the Centre.
