In order to function effectively and efficiently, the NARC has Senior Research Fellows, Research Fellows and 8 Directorates, with the Director-General (DG) being the overall Chief accounting Officer of the Centre. The directorates include: Directorate of Information and Communication Technology; Directorate of Training and Consultancy; Directorate of Research, Innovation and Campaign Analysis and Directorate of Administration. Others include: Directorate of Library, Archives and Publications; Directorate of Finance and Account and the Directorate of International Alliance and Linkages.

  1. Directorate of Information and Communication Technology

    Brigadier General Ferdinand Chukwudebem Eze was born on 15th August 1960 at Umuaka in Njaba Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria. He attended Umuaka Community School II before proceeding to the Nigerian Military School Zaria for his secondary education. He attended the Nigerian Defence Academy from where he was commissioned into the Nigerian Army Signals Corps on 14th December 1985.

    He has held several military appointments in the course of his service. These include Adjutant/Officer Commanding Communications Center; Senior Instructor; General Staff Officer Grade1 Personnel Services and Assistant Director Lessons Learnt Army Headquarters.

    In addition, he has served as Chief Systems Designer/Planner; Deputy Chief of Staff Personnel Services at Signals Headquarters; Commander Communications Command and Deputy Director Equipment Standards & Research at the Defence Headquarters. His last appointment was Director C4 Systems at Army Headquarters. He is presently the Director Communications and ICT at the Nigerian Army Resource Center. Readmore


  2. Directorate of Training and Consultancy

    Brig Gen Okechukwu Nkem Ugo hails from Obowo LGA of Imo State. He had his secondary education at the famous Nigerian Military School (NMS) Zaria from 1975 to 1980. Thereafter, he proceeded to the premier University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) where he studied Civil Engineering, graduating with a Second Class Upper Division Degree in 1985.

    In 1986, he trained at the Nigerian Defence Academy Kaduna and was commissioned Second Lieutenant.  He was subsequently posted to the Nigerian Army Engineer Corps. He rose steadily through the ranks and was promoted Brigadier General effective 5th March 2014. Readmore 

  3. Directorate of Research, Innovation and Campaign Analysis

    Brigadier Gereral Bello Alhaji Tsoho is the present Director Research, Innovation and Campaign Analysis (D RI & CA) at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, (NARC). He was born in Kamba, Dandi Local Government Area of Kebbi state on 22nd December 1965. He had his primary school education at Mudi model primary school, Kamba and secondary education at Kanta College, Argungu where he obtained his GCE in 1984. He proceeded to the Sokoto State College of Arts and science where he obtained his IJMB in 1986 and later to Usman Dan Fodio University, Sokoto where he obtained his B.Sc in Agricultural Science. He also obtained a PGDE from Tai Solarin University of Education Ijebu-Ode in 2008. Later he obtained his M.Sc and Ph.D in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ilorin. Tsoho was commissioned into the Nigerian Army on 8 December 1992. He rose through the ranks and was promoted Brigadier General in 2016. Readmore

  4. Directorate of Administration

    Brig Gen Ayobambo Adetokunbo Orukotan was born on 13 Mar 70 in Birmingham, England to the family of Lt Col and Late Chief Mrs E A Orukotan (Rtd). He hails from Sagamu LGA of Ogun State. He attended Army Children School Bauchi and Sagamu Ogun between 1976 and 1981 and Sagamu High School, in Ogun State between 1982 and 1986. On 10 Sep 88, Ayobambo was admitted into the Nigerian Defence Academy as an officer-cadet as a member of 40th Regular Combatant Course where he graduated with Bachelor of Science in Physics and was commissioned on 25 Sep 93 as a 2Lt into the Nigerian Army Corp of Artillery. On commission, he was posted to 323 Arty Regt and subsequently served in several units, formations and higher headquarters which include 353 Arty Regt, 303 Arty Regt, State House Arty Btry, AHQ – DOAA and 37 Arty Bde. He also served at Infantry Corp Center and School, NDA and Nigerian Army School of Artillery. He was promoted to the present rank of Brig Gen on 10 Dec 16. Readmore

    Brigadier General OL Olokor holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (1991) and a Master of Fine Arts degrees (1996) from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. He obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) 2011 from Tai Solarian University of Education, Nigeria. He also hold a Doctor of Philosophy degree (Ph.D) from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso, Nigeria specializing in War Art. He is a member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and Society of Nigerian Artists (SNA) He was supervised by renowned artist Late Gani Odutokun and Professor Rom Kalilu for the Masters and Doctor of Philosophy degrees respectively.

    He has been awarded the Forces Service Star (FSS), Meritorious Service Star (MSS), Field Command Medal (FCM), General Operation Medals (GOM) Silver Jubilee Medal and United Nations Numeral 2 Medals. He has commendation letters from: Commander 31 Artillery Brigade, General Officer Commanding (GOC) 7 Division Nigerian Army, Corps Commander Nigerian Army Education (CC Edn), Deputy Force Commander United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) and the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Nigerian Army. His other awards are: Junior Chambers, University of Nigeria Nsukka, Golden Heart Foundation United Kingdom, Commandos Award (2010) – Command Secondary School, Parent Teachers Association Award (2010), Rotary International Award (2011), Isoko Times Award (2010) and Isoko Union Ilorin Award (2013) He holds a chieftaincy title of OgbaEmo 1 of Ovrode town in Delta state.     Colonel Abiodun Oladele was born on 20 July 1963 in Moniya, Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State. He was enrolled into Municipal Government Primary School, Ibadan in 1972 and proceeded to Oke'Badan High School, Ibadan in 1978.  He subsequently completed his secondary education in the year 1983. He gained admission into the Nigerian Defence Academy on 4th March 1986 as a member of 27 Short Service Combatant Course.  He was commissioned Second Lieutenant on 20 December 1986 and was promoted to the present rank of Col in December 2010. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Nigerian Army School of Finance and Administration (NASFA) and Kaduna Polytechnic respectively. He is a Fellow of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) and a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), among others. Readmore
