About
- Brig Gen Ferdinand Chukwudebem Eze (Rtd) commissioned into the Nigerian Army Signals Corps on 14th December 1985. He is an alumnus of the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Nigeria; Nigerian Defence Academy Kaduna, Nigeria; Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Nigeria and National Defence University, Islamabad, Pakistan.
- He held several appointments in the course of his service. These included Adjutant/Officer Commanding Communications Center; Senior Instructor Combat Communications; General Staff Officer Grade1 Personnel Services, Army Headquarters and Assistant Director Lessons Learnt. In addition, he served as Chief Systems Designer/Planner; Deputy Chief of Staff Personnel Services at Signals Headquarters; Commander Communications Command and Director C4 Systems at Army Headquarters. He worked as Director Communications and ICT at the Nigerian Army Resource Center (NARC) from December 2015 to August 2017, when he retired voluntarily from the Nigerian Army. He is presently working as an ICT Consultant at NARC.
- Brig Gen Eze (Rtd) was involved in peacekeeping operations. He was Commander Military Observers (MILOBs) Group Site Darfur, African Union Mission in Sudan (AMIS); Military Adviser, AMIS; Senior Military Adviser, AU Liaison Office Khartoum Sudan and Military Liaison Officer, United Nations African Union Hybrid Operation in Darfur (UNAMID).
- Eze holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry/Zoology, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunications and a Masters Degree in National Security and War Studies. His military awards are psc, FSS, MSS, DSS and GSS. He is a Member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS); Member Nigerian Computer Society (NCS) and Member Board of Directors, Super Green Security Nig Ltd. He is also a Fellow of the National Defence University, Islamabad, Pakistan and a Fellow of the NARC.
- Brig Gen FC Eze (Rtd) is a content developer. He is married with 4 children. He likes travelling and reading.
