The participants of Higher Command Course, Army War College India, visited Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC), Abuja on Wednesday 25th September 2019. The visit which was part of their course requirement of world study tour afforded them the opportunity to know more about Nigeria and the NARC.
On arrival at the centre, they were received by the DG NARC, Maj Gen GA Wahab (rtd) and were later briefed on the activities of the Centre at NARC Conference Hall B during which they asked questions. Thereafter, they were conducted round the Nigerian Army Museum.

In his welcome address, the DG Maj Gen GA Wahab implored the participants to interact and ask questions where possible to clear doubt and ambiguity.
In his response, the Team leader, Brig Gen Sudhir Malik, expressed delight for the hospitality and opportunity accorded to them during the visit to NARC and Nigeria in general. He said that, the Centre is of an incredible value to the Nigerian Army, not only for the fact that it is independent, but also looking at the levels of local and international partnerships it enjoys with reputable research institutions.
Other highlights of the visit were the exchange of plaques by the both parties and the presentation of souvenirs to the participants and their spouses. Present at the occasion were the Indian Defence Adviser to Nigeria, Col SachinDubey, the ED NARC Consult Maj Gen IM Yusuf, Directors and some senior staff of the Centre.
