The Director General, Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC), Maj Gen Garba Ayodeji Wahab (Rtd) has commended the posted out senior officers of the Centre for adding value to the programmes and activities of NARC.
He made this known on Wednesday 8 January, 2020 during a send forth organised in honour of the officers at the Centre’s Cafeteria, Abuja. He urged them to brace up to new challenges because where they are going could be seen to be more challenging than where they are leaving.
Gen Wahab equally challenged them to always try as much as possible to put their own ideas to whatever is happening in their new Areas of Responsibility (AORs) without jeopardizing what is already achieved.

In his axiom, “Leave where you are going to better than how you met it”. “What you expect, you should inspect”, he said.
In his vote of thanks, Brig Gen DI Salihu thanked the almighty Allah for making the day possible for the send forth. The Research Fellow on behalf of other celebrants, appealed to the entire staff of the Centre to bear with them for any infraction, addition or subtraction that they must have caused any one in the course of their short stay at the Centre. He however applauded the DG NARC whom he described as his mentor and the entire NARC Staff for their cooperation and high sense of responsibility throughout the years.
The climax of the ceremony was the presentation of souvenirs to the officers by the DG in appreciation for their services to the Centre. Additionally, a certificate of participation at the World Schools Debating Championship Bangkok, Thailand 2019 was presented to the Acting Director of Library and Archives, Col EC Echebuiwe.
