The Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC) Abuja, has held a Send-off ceremony in honour of the 4 Corps members who recently completed their one year mandatory National Youth Service at the Centre.
The ceremony which took place at the Director General’s Office (DG), TY Buratai Block of the Centre was a mark of appreciation to formally send-off the four corps members in a remarkable manner. The affected Corps members are: . Miss Briggs Iyowibo Tamunotonye, Miss Mustapha Tayo Kudirat, Mr Attahiru Yahaya Idris and Mr Moshood Olanrewaju Sodeeq.
The Director General (DG), NARC, Major General Garba Ayodeji Wahab (Rtd) in his usual manner congratulated the Corps Members for successfully completing their one year mandatory National Youth Service at the Centre. The DG admonished them to socialise with people and strife to be better in their future endeavours. The DG also advised them to be more creative and innovative because life now is not base on one’s certificates but what one can use his/her brain to do,
In her vote of thanks, miss Mustapha Tayo Kudirat on behalf of her fellow celebrants expressed their sincere gratitude to the almighty God for making the day a reality. She however applauded the DG for his fatherly advise and moral support for providing an enabling environment at the Centre. She equally showered appreciation on the entire NARC staff for the high sense of responsibility exhibited throughout the period.
The climax of the ceremony was the presentation of souvenirs and gift items to the celebrants by the DG in appreciation for their successful tour of duty at the Centre.
