The Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC), on Thursday, 15 April 2022 organised a send-off ceremony in honour of one of the senior officers, Major General Baize Mohammed after a meritorious service at the Centre. The ceremony took place at Hall C, TY Buratai Block, NARC, Abuja.
The senior officer, Major General Baize Mohammed who is posted out after a meritorious service in the NARC to other another formation in the Nigerian Army was a Senior Research Fellow and is now posted to TY Buratai Institute as Director, Collaboration.
In his remarks, the Director General (DG), NARC, Major General Garba Ayodeji Wahab (Rtd) thanked the senior officer for his immense selfless service to the Nigerian Army and his contributions to Nigerian Army Resource Centre. The DG also admonished the posted out senior officer to be a good ambassador of the Centre .
Major General Baize Mohammed thanked the DG and the management staff of the Centre for their support and cooperation in making his work easy for him. Major General Mohammed said, serving in the Centre is a great opportunity which exposes him to the outside world and make him see things in different dimensions. He also assured the DG that he will be a good ambassador of the Centre.
The climax of the ceremony was the presentation of a souvenir and gift item to the senior officer by the DG as a mark of appreciation for his contribution and service to the Centre and the Nigerian Army in general.
