The Director General (DG), Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC), Major General Garba Ayodeji Wahab (rtd) today, 20 January 2022 organised a send-off ceremony in honour of two senior Officers who served in the Centre in Various capacities and are now posted to other Units and formations in the Nigerian Armed Forces while one senior officer is going on retirement. The affected Senior Officers are Major General M Danmadami, Brig Gen AT Lawal and Col UM Ndana who was going on retirement after successful completion of an exemplary service in the Nigerian Army.The ceremony took place at Hall C, TY Buratai Block, Nigerian Army Resource Centre. It is worthy to note that prior to their posting and retirement, Major General M Danmadami was the Subject Expert , Indian Sub-Continent , Brigadier General AT Lawal was the Deputy Director Administration while Col UA Ndana was the Librarian.
The DG in his remarks, thanked the senior officers for their contributions to the Centre in the areas of Research . He also adviced them to go and shine in their new appointments as they always do, and also be good Ambassadors of the Centre.
Maj Gen M Danmadami while giving the vote of thanks on behalf of his colleagues appreciated the DG and the Management Staff of the Centre for making their stay at the Centre memorable, eventful and impactful. He assured the DG that they will be good ambassadors of the Centre.
The Ceremony was attended by the Senior Officers both serving and retired, soldiers and civilian staff of the Centre. The high point of the ceremony was the presentation of souvenirs to the posted out and retired senior officers by the DG.
