The Director General (DG), Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC), Major General Garba Ayodeji Wahab (Rtd), inaugurated participants of Work Ethics and Organisational Performance Course 3/2022. The Inauguration ceremony was held at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre Conference Hall ‘C’ TY Buratai Block in Abuja on Monday 16 May 2022.
The course is designed for junior personnel drawn from the Armed Forces of Nigeria, para-military agencies and corporate organisations, as well as the civil society.
In his inaugural address, the DG pointed out that, the Work Ethics of most Nigerians is usually bellow the expected standard, that is why the NARC designed this programme to bring Nigerians from different agencies and backgrounds together so that the can understand the strengths and weaknesses of each organisation. He added that by so doing, it will help them to work as a team and for easy collaboration and corporation . He also challenged the participants to socialise among themselves because they need one another and for easy communication.
The Course Coordinator, Brigadier General Ferdinand Eze (Rtd) in his welcome address highlighted the course objectives which are to deepen the understanding of Work Ethics and productivity, to emphasize the importance of positive mindset in the workplace also to bring out the place of the effective communication in an Organisation among others.
The ceremony was attended by the Executive Director Consult, NARC), Major General JGK Myam, Director of Research, Professor CBN Ogbogbo, and other Directors of the Centre.
