Brigadier General Ohimege Hamidu Musa

Brigadier General Ohimege Hamidu Musa is the present Director of the Directorate of Quality Assurance Collaboration and Linkages (DQACL) and the seventh since the establishment of the Directorate in 2015 at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC) Abuja.  He is from Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.  Brigadier General Hamidu is a member of 42 Regular Course, and was commissioned into the Nigerian Army Infantry Corps as a Second Lieutenant in 1995.  He Holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Kaduna.  He is also a Member National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru-Jos and Fellow Nigerian Army Resource Centre amongst others.

Brigadier General OH Musa has attended several military courses which include: Young Officers Course Infantry, Anti-Tank Platoon Commanders Course, Mortar Platoon Commanders Course, Commanding Officers Course, Infantry Junior and Senior Command and Staff Courses all in Jaji-Kaduna.  General Musa served in various capacities at different ranks, these includes: Platoon Commander 82 Demonstration Battalion Jaji and 103 Battalion Enugu, Company Commander 4 Guards Battalion, Deputy Chief of Staff at Headquarters Guards Brigade and Commander Guards Brigade Garrison Abuja.  He has also served as Instructor in Tactics Wing Nigerian Army School of Infantry Jaji, Chief of Staff at Headquarters 27 Task Force Brigade at Buni Yadi, Yobe State, Chief of Staff Headquarters 8 Division Sokoto, Commander 29 Task Force Brigade Jakana, Borno State and Director Combat Readiness at Army Headquarters Department of Army Standard and Evaluation, Abuja.

General Musa has lots of military operational experience such as, Operation HARMONY IV Bakassi Peninsula, UNAMSIL in Sierra Leone, UNAMID Sudan, Operation LAFIA DOLE and Operation Hadin Kai in the North East, Operation Harbin Kunama in Zamfara amongst others which earned him a host of decorations to his credit, some of which are: UNAMSIL Medal Sierra Leone, Operation HARMONY Medal, UNAMID Medal, Golden Jubilee Medal, Meritorious Service Star, Command Medal, Field Command Medal and Distinguished Service Star.

General Ohimege Hamidu Musa enjoys travelling and farming.  He is married and blessed with children.
