The Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC), Abuja conducted the Maiden Edition of Net Assessment on Nigerian Army Operations today Thursday, 3 March 2022 at Conference Hall A, TY Buratai Block of the Centre.
Two Eminent Resource Persons made presentations on their areas of specialization. The first to present was the Commandant, Air Force War College, Air Vice Marshal Sayo Olatunde. The senior officer presented on Net Assessment on Nigerian Army Operations. In his presentation, he looked at the definition of Net Assessment, the difference between Net Assessment and Future Plans where he analysed some facts about Army Future Command and some facts about Net Assessment efforts in Nigeria.
Thereafter, Mrs Modupe Oyedepo made her presentation on Critical Thinking and Emotional Intelligence where she succinctly told the participants what Critical Thinking and Emotional Intelligence is and what it takes to be emotionally intelligent and the difference between them. After the respective presentations, the floor was opened for inputs, questions, contributions and clarification on the presentations.
The session was moderated by the Director, Net Assessment and Future Plans, Brigadier General Umar Aliyu, the Director General, Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Major General Garba Ayodeji Wahab (Rtd) welcomed all participants to the presentation and gave an insight into the programme, while Major General AT Famadewa, a Senior Research Fellow summed up the session. High point of the programme was the presentation of souvenirs to the Resource Persons.
