Brig Gen OD Donibo, the first presenter and Subject Expert for India Sub-Continent focused on Pakistan’s summon of United States Embassy staff over the Biden-Mudi statement. He outlined a number of strategies for building an effective foreign policy, including diligent intelligence collecting and diplomatic dexterity.
Brig Gen OF Ohunyeye, the second presenter and Subject Expert for West Africa and the Gulf of Guinea highlighted the recent mob killing of a man accused of religious blasphemy in Sokoto. The presentation pointed out that blasphemy-related violence in Nigeria has continued on the rise due to lack of commitment by government and security agencies to bring justice against its perpetrators.
