The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Gabriel Olonisakin has expressed the need for military officers’ to brace up to the security challenges confronting the nation and while foster more inter-agency collaboration. He made the statement at Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC) Conference Hall A, during the graduation ceremony for the participants of Strategic Management and Policy Studies Course (SMPSC) 1/2018.

The CDS also enjoined the military to continuously seek for knowledge and self-development even in retirement. He further stated that, after a successful military career, officers require to seamlessly integrate into a civil life for post service engagements. He further charged the graduands to effectively utilize the knowledge gained during the course for betterment and development of the society.
In his remark, the Chief of Amy Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai, stated that the Course was designed to develop senior Army Officers in Strategic Management, Policy and critical thinking. He also said that the knowledge acquired by the participants would be of immense measure to both human and capacity development. He commended the Director General Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC), Major General Garba Wahab (Rtd), the Resource Persons and other partners, for their efforts towards the success of the course.
