The Nigerian Army Resource Centre has inaugurated the Executive Project Management on ICT Security Course at its Computer Learning Centre, Abuja. The course which was powered by the Directorate of Information, Communications and Technology at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, was aimed at enabling project managers to optimize their performance by learning how to foresee or predict challenges in their projects, plan, organize and control activities so that facilities are maximally secured in spite of all the risk for their organization.
According to the course facilitator the benefits participants stand to derive from the course include: more efficient use of Information Communication Technology resources and improved financial performance, improved risk management and protection of people and the environment amongst others.
Similarly, the graduation ceremony was also held at Centre after the one- week intensive training programme. During the period, the Director General Maj Gen Johnny Hamakim who was represented by the Director, Training and Consultancy Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Brig Gen SN Bitrus expressed satisfaction on the performance of the participants. He urged the participants to always make maximum use of resources available while delivering on projects. The highlight of the event was the award of certificates to the graduands.
