The Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC) recently witnessed the inauguration of the executive class on Human Resource Management Course 1 at the Computer Learning Centre. The Human Resource Management training is designed to provide participants with the necessary skills needed to create better understanding of unforeseen challenges and relationship between the employer and employee from the process of recruitment to retirement.
In the world today, the major goal is to achieve success and to achieve this, there has to be a conducive environment where staff of an organization can freely relate with themselves and with the management. Thus, there is no gain saying that this can only be possible when there is a proper human resource management to conduct proper recruitment, cater for the needs and welfare of staff, ensure staff carry out their responsibility properly and obey the rules and regulations guiding the organization in respect of its policies.
This course therefore, explains the concept of recruitment and selection to a class that has definitely had prior exposure to it, whether as the recruiter or the person recruited.
It will be recalled that the Basic Internet Computing Core Certification (IC3) Course 1 was inaugurated here sometimes last year, to bridge the Information Communication Technology gap among the members of the military, their wards and the Nigerian society in general.
