The Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC) organized a get-together to send forth 4 of its senior officers posted out of the Centre, including the Centre’s Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) who has proceeded to the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC) for his pre-retirement course.
The occasion, which took place on Thursday 12 January 2017 at the Centre’s Conference Room B, was attended by all directors, senior officers, officers, senior non-commissioned officers and civilian staff of the Centre.
Representing the DG at the occasion, Director Communications and Information Technology, Brig Gen FC Eze, acknowledged the contribution of the posted-out senior officers to the Centre and urged them to positively project NARC in their new units. He also expressed confidence in their ability to contribute their best in their new units.
Speaking on behalf of the departing senior officers, the outgoing Deputy Director Research, Innovation and Campaign Analysis, Col OB Davies, appreciated the Director General Nigerian Army Resource Centre (DG NARC), Maj Gen JGS Hamakim and other senior officers of the Centre. He described the DG NARC as a General of rare quality; emphasizing that it was his exemplary leadership quality that has brought the Centre to its current enviable status. Col Davies further urged the staff of the Centre to cherish the bond existing amongst them. He promised, on behalf of the posted out officers, that they would put to good use all that they learnt while in NARC.
The posted out senior officers are Brig Gens LM Zakari and OR Aiyenigba who are posted to Defence Headquarters. Others are Col OB Davies who is posted to 6 Division and Maj A Sadiq posted to National Defence College. The Centre’s RSM on pre-retirement course is MWO Danladi Yakubu.
