The team visited RUSI on 22 Jan 16 and interacted with the Director General, Dr. Karin Von Hippel and some Senior Research Fellows. RUSI is an independent think tank engaged in cutting edge defence and security research in the United Kingdom. The Director of RUSI has asked the Director General NARC to invite the COAS for the world-class conference holding from 28-29 Jun 16, to discuss contemporary challenges facing Land Warfare. This would also afford the COAS an opportunity to meet the British Chief of General Staff. The Institution has also offered to collaborate with the NARC in carrying out a research on how to administer liberated cities from terrorists in the North Eastern part of Nigeria.
