The Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC), Abuja today, held Friday’s edition of the Weekly Subject Experts’ Briefing at Hall B, TY Buratai Block, NARC, Abuja. The week ended with briefing by one Research Fellow and Subject Expert. He made a presentation on current happenings in his area of coverage and drew analysis and lessons for Nigeria and made recommendations after which there was a robust interactive session.
Brigadier General AA Nguru mni, Subject Expert for East and Central Africa briefed on the recent happenings in the region and focused his presentation on Tanzania. In his presentation, Brigadier General AA Nguru highlighted where the opposition group and activists are demanding for constitutional changes in the country. He further made analysis on the situation and drew up comparisons with the Nigerian Constitution, pointing out lessons, implications on Defence and National Security and recommendations for Nigeria.
Present at the briefing were the Executive Director, Consult, Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Major General JGK Myam, Director of Research, Professor CBN Ogbogbo and other management staff, Senior Research Fellows and Research Fellows, Consultants, senior officers, and other staff of the Centre.
