The Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC) recently witnessed the inauguration of the second phase of the executive class on Human Resource Management Course 2 at the Learning Centre. The Course, which is coordinated by the NARC Training Centre is designed to provide participants with the necessary skills needed to create better understanding of unforeseen challenges and relationship between the employer and employee from the process of recruitment to retirement.
The Director General Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Maj Gen Johnny Hamakim (rtd) in his address congratulated the NARC Learning Centre for their consolidated efforts towards the enhancement of the Human Resource Management Course, which he described as a very important aid in enhancing day to day activities. He said the Learning Centre has been relentless in adding value to the system since it was established, while also applauding the participants for their courage in taking up the course.
Earlier, the Course Coordinator Brig Gen FC Eze (rtd) stated that the idea behind the Programme was bringing persons who can interact and share ideas together in a way of enhancing human resource management.
In the world today, the major goal is to achieve success in a conducive environment where staff of an organization can freely relate with themselves and with the management. Thus, there is no gain saying that this can only be possible when there is a proper human resource management to conduct proper recruitment, carter for the needs and welfare of staff, ensure staff carry out their responsibilities properly and obey the rules and regulations guiding the organization in respect of its policies.
